OK, so no first round coverage that I can find, but the East Finals will broadcast as follows:

Sun. Mar 30

12:00 NESN
3:30 FSNY

The page below might update in the next few days with more details:

Here's a link to the official NCAA TV schedule:

We'll know about the first round on Tuesday. As for the second - this site lists a "join-in-progress clearance." At 3:30? Unless it goes to overtime, there'll be no game to join in progress at that time.

WTF happened to YES?  I hope they pick this up.
"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

Well that sucks. I figured it would be pre-empted on FSNY by the NHL game, but all the listings indicate tape delay in full at 3:30. Hope something changes.

Does anyone have any idea what the satellite coordinates for the feed will be...and if the feed will be in the clear?

The NCAA website lists Fox Sports Pittsburgh and Sunshine Network as two of the stations carrying the games.  Fox Sports Pittsburgh is 428 on Dish Network and Sunshine is 422 (I think).

More for DirecTV subscribers: It looks like Fox Sports Pittsburgh is the only network on DirecTV's "Sports Pack" that will be showing the East Regional Final in Providence on the 30th. Fox Sports Pittsburgh is on Channel 628. Unfortunately, the links above seem to suggest that nobody's broadcasting either of the two East Regional Semifinals from Providence on the 29th. Anybody know otherwise?

The NCAA page also says, "Eight first round clearances for Division I Men's Hockey will be added Tuesday, March 25. "

Update on watching Saturday's Cornell-MSUM game from Providence with DirecTV...

This is what was posted on the MSUM Athletics site this morning: "All three games of the Eastern Regional will be carried live by Fox Sports Net North. Sean Grande will call the play-by-play and former WHA goaltender Cap Raeder will provide analysis."

If that's true, then DirecTV viewers who subscribe to the "Sports Pack" add-on (or sports bar patrons who go to places that pay for "Sports Pack") will be able to watch the game live at noon on Channel 641.

Matt and John (above) are right: I see that I somehow failed to read the part of the NCAA page (links above) saying that several more clearances will be announced today. I'm sure other networks/systems will be picking up this game.

I agree... GET TO PROVIDENCE, forget TV.

Unless you live someplace like Louisiana, Texas, Utah, California, etc, right?

I just got off the phone with a customer service rep for Ithaca's Time Warner Cable.  He said they are working on arrangements to carry the games Cornell will be in this weekend as he spoke to me.  He also mentioned that it would most likely be on a channel below 20 or above 73, so that people with the most basic of the basic cable packages can get it.

Time Warner has been working on getting coverage since yesterday, but the customer rep did indicate to me that email to management would help encourage the process.....twcable@twcable.com.....let them know they'll have a big audience in Ithaca!!! (for those of us who just can't get to RI....)
