I thought Village Pourhouse could be trusted for tonight's event, but I just called the manager to triple check that everything was set for our game tonight. He says he's now sure they won't have Root Sports and is trying to hook up a feed from his computer to the TV. Doesn't sound good. Meanwhile, I checked with Bleecker Street Bar and was told they get Root Sports--DTV 683. (Bleecker Street Bar is right at the 6 train on Bleecker near Bowery. It's also very close to the D, B, M and F stop at Broadway/Lafayette.) The person I spoke with got the channel. Apologies for the inconvenience. In Manhattan, Village Pourhouse at the corner of Third Ave. and 11th Street has DirecTv and gets Root Sports. It has agreed to put on the game vs. Denver (number of TVs with game on will depend on number of you who show). Gametime is 9:30 p.m. ET on Friday, January 4. Please post if you expect to make it.
