It'll be long anyway.  TV timeouts.  I don't imagine New England Comcast carries MSG does it?
"Yo Paulie - I don't see no crowd gathering 'round you neither."

After being 4-0 down, as well. Yale lost at Sacred Heart 7-6, despite only facing 19 shots.

Crazy night in the ECAC, we definitely looked tired out there. Then again, there's probably no more appropriate way to win #500 in Lynah than a 1-0 shutout.

IMO, MVP of tonight's game:

Iles
D'Agostino
Ferlin

D looked good, both on even strength and PK, and that was the only reason we kept Niagara at bay. Niagara was obviously less skilled, which gave us a lot of chances in mid-ice, although we couldn't capitalize in the first two periods.

Too bad about Yale and Brown, this is gonna hurt our PWR a bit. Hopefully it wouldn't be that big of a deal if we beat B.U. or split C.C.

Quote from: Al DeFlorioNiagara's two-man forecheck gave us fits after their time-out.  Same thing Q did to dominate the first period Saturday night.  If BU does that it could be a long night at the Garden.

So what do you think the practice schedule is? I'd guess nothing tomorrow or Thursday, something in Ithaca on Friday, and something at the Garden to get used to it on Saturday. Two practices might help, but I doubt that's enough to solve the problem. Then again, Mike probably began addressing it on Monday.

As amusing as it is seeing these kinds of results, it is not a good thing for the league.  Yale losing to a winless Sacred Heart team is embarrassing.

Overall, maybe, but Iles bailed them out on a couple of nasty breakaways within minutes of each other in the 2nd.  Not exactly smart defensive hockey.
Let's Go RED!

At the very least, Hahvahd beating UNH should mitigate some of the PWR damage.

As pathetic as the Yale outcome is the game attendance: 754 people in an arena with a 10,000 person capacity.  Yeah, it's a Tuesday night in Bridgeport, but come on.

That's still more fans than Yale brought to Atlantic City last March.

Can you blame them? Atlantic City?

UHN must have been really confused to think it was the NC$$ tournament, and they were Hahvahd. :-D

Either that or they realized they were playing Harvard and spent Monday night at their version of "The Creeker" (Fall Creek House for those of you under 50) as Yale obviously did in preparing for Sacred Heart.::drunk::
"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."
