Just a few NHL alum updates:

-Colin Greening, Ben Scrivens, Justin Krueger, and Riley Nash remain on their respective teams' (Ottawa, Toronto, and Carolina) training camp rosters
-Raymond Sawada has been placed on waivers by the Dallas Stars and will likely end up back on the Texas Stars in the AHL
-Brendon Nash suffered a shoulder injury that required surgery while in the Canadiens' training camp and is out indefinitely
-Ryan O'Byrne, Douglas Murray, and Matt Moulson remain permanent NHL players for Colorado, San Jose, and the Islanders, respectively
-Byron Bitz continues to deal with a hernia and is on injured reserve for Vancouver
-David Leneveu and Joe Devin will play in the AHL (for Oklahoma City and San Antonio)

Colin Greening ought to go in the group w/ O'Byrne, Murray and Moulson. His contract is a three year, one way contract. His spot in the NHL is pretty well sewn up this year (or at least he makes NHL money no matter what).

Sounds like he made the team!

"Although the league allows a roster of up to 23 players, Carolina will not carry more than 22.  The final cuts will be from the blue line."

Another Cornellian in the NHL - great news!

I can't even be as tall as Dryden. He's so good at everything. Sort of Cornell's Cam Newton on skates.
