After the Brown game, Donahue said something to the effect that Providence was a good possibility.

it was close for awhile, a 4 point game at one point in the 2nd half, but Cornell beats Yale 79-59

should be able to get that 12 seed

All they need to do is repeat the 20-30 3 pt shot game at Brown and they'll be fine in the tournament.

Athletics will be announcing something later this week but it sounds like they will be having a Selection Sunday party or something at Newman

Impressive performance by Cornell in Yale tonight. Few signs of a letdown after clinching Ivy title the night before. We also had to overcome some terrible foul calls on Foote by one of the refs, who called three fouls on him in the second half from the opposite side of the court after the two refs with a better view didn't call anything. Dale carried us for a while, and Wittman got hot for a while in the second half. Our experience showed after Yale cut our lead to 4 early in the second half and we responded with a 16-2 run.

Yeah the Cornell crowd was also impressive, it sounded and looked like a home game

Any way to find out potential times of the games in Providence?

Ticket info from CU Athletics does not yet include game times.
Quote from: colleghoopsnet.comThe first round features two sessions (2 games each) at each venue. These tend to start at noon, but times are not final as of now. Evening sessions are usually at 6pm. Second round games on the weekend tend to start at noon, but specific game times will be announced later on when CBS finalizes its television schedule.

Quote from: ugarteNote to people who are under 45 and were possibly planning on rushing the court:

Do not, under any circumstances, rush the court after beating BROWN for the teams third consecutive league title. Act like you've been there before, please.

Al, Killer, feel free to rush the court. You waited long enough for a "Cornell basketball era" that you may as well enjoy it.
Well, let's just say Killer and I kinda sauntered onto the court...and enjoyed every minute of it.

[Also, you can see for yourself the apparently controversial quote from Donahue.]

Can't comment at all on the credibility of this site, but, for what it's worth, they give Cornell b-ball a power ranking of 29: http://www.collegehoopsnet.com/collegehoopsnet-top-50-week-seventeen-168328
