Okay, less than 2 weeks until I get my version of Red Hot Hockey ::banana::. My nephew and I will be there. Anyone else?

If anyone needs a pick-up from RSW (or even Naples) airport, let me know. I am staying with my parents in Estero, and I am in close proximity to both airports and local hotels.

My family of four.  Me ('72), wife, daughter #1, and daughter #2 ('06).  Section 102, Row 1.
Day 2 only.  We'll be in Orlando for the Champs Sports Bowl Game on Day 1.  Daughter #1 is a Badger, so we're splitting our time.

My girlfriend ('12) and I ('12) will be there for both games. Section 114.

Go RED!

My wife and I (both '01) will be there. Haven't bought tickets yet, but based on attending two years ago it shouldn't be hard to wander up to the CU section :)

Game 1 +1.

Can we please all just sit together in the same section? The entire place is empty and it doesn't matter whether you sit in your seat or not. Let's just pick a place on the blue line of the zone where we'll be shooting at 2 out of 3 periods and all collect there. It'll be more fun than everyone spreading out among the cavernous arena, entire sections away from the nearest living thing.

In past years, those of us who want to cheer loudly stand at top the section where the SW Florida Cornell Alumni have their reception area. For those who haven't been to Germain/Teco arena, at one end of the arena the top of the seating area leads to a large reception area and the Cornell club reserves that area. It is a nice arena and pretty much empty, so yes, you can sit where ever you want.

I'll be there with my Red #14 Cam Abbott jersey.

Just ask the arena box office for seats in a high row in the Cornell section, and you'll be with the elynah crew (although there's no problem moving around wherever your seats are).  In recent years the Cornell section has been 113-114.

Excellent stuff. See you there.

dbilmes and I will be there again. Hope to maybe go out with some eLynah folk after the games, seeing as this is my first year of legal drinking.

Tony Sacco's in the Coconut Point Mall (probably about 5 minutes from the rink, in Estero, on Rte 41) has half price happy hour from 9 pm -close. $2.50 drafts (standard stuff, microbrews haven't caught on down there) and glasses of wine. Half price appetizers too, and the garlic rolls are fantastic. There is also a TGIF's and several other restaurants/alcohol serving places in Coconut point.

There is a Miller's Alehouse in the Gulf Coast Mall (just down the road from the rink, on Alico Road), but I'm not sure how late they stay open. "Late" in that part of Florida is 10 pm.

I'd be up for going out after I bring my nephew home (he has another 13 years before he is legal, and as the Estero regulars know, he has trouble staying awake for all of the second game, never mind post-game! ;-).)

My son & I will be there, bought tix through CU office.  First time at this event because the Florida parents always came to us, now it is the reverse.  So much better this way.
