One of the commentators--I think it was Fridgen, the former RPI coach--was chuckling about it earlier in the broadcast, and making it sound like it was something Schafer did in a moment of anger/frustration. It is his right hand, and we've probably all seen him pound the glass with that hand in frustrating moments in the past. The tieing goal that BU scored was pretty frustrating. You can reach your own conclusions. (Or PM Ari for...ahhh, never mind.)

On the TW broadcast they said something like "Schafer said it wasn't his finest moment." Then they said "I'm not going to comment on that." ???
