Tell her I went to Michigan as well as Cornell, and Cornell is better!

As an aside, I also spent two years at Michigan and I'm not sure I agree with you. Each have their strong points, and each are excellent schools.

Ithaca holds a special place in my heart.  Michigan won a NCAA hockey championship when I was there and I love the business school.....but the undergraduate vs graduate environment is just different.  My comment was not meant seriously and everyone has their own opinions of course.

Yeah, well, that's just like... your opinion, man.

We did have a better winning percentage than they did against I-AA opponents in 2007. :-D

Place your bids! Some items (mostly women's) are up on ebay. Seems there are no photos of actual men's jerseys. There's also a considerable lack of... bids.

Repeat after me: They could be worse. You could be looking at a giant huggy bear.

Jerseys aren't cheap. Unless bidding takes off, the league would have probably been better off just giving the money to the cause.

I think the better approach would have been to just use the teams actual jersey designs with what appears to be a couple of additional patches on the shoulders (pink ribbon and something else) and auctioned those off. I would have worn that; no way are you getting me into these things.

CowbellGuy

I'm guessing the jerseys were donated or at the very least supplied very cheaply to the league in bulk, as every team is wearing the same blank. If each team had to order another set of jerseys, it would require each team to do more work and in all likelihood end up costing more.

Maybe the pink will cause a run on Pepto-Bismol

I am editing this because I wonder if the lack of advertising for products such as this means that the current generation of Cornellians might not know what I referred to.

A liquid formula with a wintergreen taste that relieves heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, nausea, diarrhea and bizarre decisions made by national collegiate sports organizations.

Also, they're kinda flooding the market with these, no?  I wonder how many teams besides Cornell quickly sell out all of their standard gameworns, let alone this Pepto-bumblebee stuff?

I get that part of the idea is to raise awareness, but I like with JasonN95's idea better than what they've done. Heck, you could even auction the patches off separately -- and the lower price-point would probably fly better in the current economy, too.

It's too bad Cheel's walls aren't Maalox green any more. Would have complemented the Pepto pink nicely.
