Game over. The defensive part was good for Cornell, but even less offense that Friday. One goal and one point for the weekend. Yuck.
I'll take 5 of 8 from the North Country teams most any year regardless of how they come.

Right- Clarkson had a one-point weekend too.  And they were playing at home.
Well, if there's ever a "good" tie, I guess this would have to be it.
Agreed. After last night's defensive debacle, Scriven's and the D coming back and getting a shut-out is very encouraging.

At least this 0-0 tie didn't have to be "resolved" and end up breaking my (and many other people's) heart! (yes, Green Bay 2006 still stings).

So, I randomly click the floating menu to the right during play, and this is the best link so far:

All of the highlights appeared to be against the same team.  Was it Azerbijan, Turkey, or Russia?
Is helped off. Doesn't look good. No penalty.

Crowd claps then chants "on your feet!"
They were yelling pussy, at least untill we shamed them to stop. The "On your feet" was their version of "Townies up" with 2 exceptions. First, they post it on the message board for a minute or so before anyone notices, and then when the chant goes on, no one stands. Oh well.

The Cornell seating was broken in two, most of us were in the corner next to the standing Clarkson students. The others, mainly hockey booster types, were in the first two rows behind the Cornell bench. I thought it would have been neat if when the on your feet chant went up, they were to stand blocking the view of the Clarksonians (?) behind them.

Please don't think the "Pussy" chant was something everyone was part of. I, along with a lot of people were yelling for the "fans" to shut up and show some class. and I never realized the irony of the poor timing of the "On Your Feet" chant right afterwards.

Not everyone, but a huge amount of the student sections. I assume it happens with some regularity; it doesn't seem it would have been spontaneous.

Many of the freshmen just don't get what it means to be classy fans... unfortunately, I doubt they'll learn as there aren't enough upperclassmen around to tell them to shut up.

How long did it take us to get rid of "Scrape him off the ice"?
