Under-20 world picks

Riley Nash, the Oilers third first-round pick last June, may get a summer invite to Canada's world under-20 junior camp. "He played at Cornell, a team that plays a defensive style, and he put up some good numbers," said Hockey Canada chief scout Al Murray.

It looks to me like the tournament would, as I believe was the case in years past, just interfere with the games in Estero. I guess it depends on how early the team starts praticing, the games are Dec 26-Jan 5.

Riley made Canada's U-20 evaluation camp roster. He's one of three NCAA players, the other two are Wisconsin defensemen Cody Goloubef (who was recruited by Cornell, among other schools) and Brendan Smith. I guess it's four if you count Kyle Turris, who played last year at Wisconsin.

Five if you count Corey Trivino who will be attending BU this fall.

"Little super-pest?"  Wow.  Well, I hope he can pest his way around Lynah for some time then.

Interesting.  One poster said Nash's line hold the puck for 40 minutes but don't take a shot.

Sounds way too familiar.
