I'm a little lost on this North Country Pizza incident Adam??

CowbellGuy

That's not the only thing you're a little lost on

Hey Age, great job on eLynah - but this is a thread for praising Cornell players - so please don't bring your Murray bashing attitude over here.

There's a not-so-fine line between praise and gratuitous-smoke-blowing-up-ass-to-no-one-listening-and-no-one-caring-ing.

I think the 20+ posts on this thread prove that there are some people-listening-and-caring-ing.

Like I said Age, if you don't care or are gonna bash - take it to another thread.

What's with the attitude Age?  All I am saying is that I am unaware of this incident.

Hey Adam - although Baby may have eaten at the Pizza Hut that February he still played in the game against St. Lawrence.  Please!!! Do you think a bit of a stomach flu would slow him down?  Michael Jordan maybe - not Baby.

And that Ogie is the TRUTH!

What I was referring to was the "In the bag". Nothing is true till it happens, and we don't like to upset the hockey gods.

Ogletorp,

Several Cornell players got sick after eating at the Canton (or Potsdam) Pizza Hut.  They couldn't play the next night against SLU and the undermanned Red lost, 3-1.

Anne 85

I think it was the Potsdam Pizza Hut.  And the game was surprisingly close, given how many players were sick.

Mo Kelly

The game was suprisingly close because Baby who did eat at the Pizza Hut sucked it up and played in that game in true Cal Ripken style*.  Rumor has it he was hurling on the bench between shifts but continued to play.

Mo

*And by the way just like Baby - Joe is continuing to play.....
Joe Nieuwendyk had a small piece of plastic inserted inside the right ear hole of his helmet to protect his ear, which was struck by a Jamie Langenbrunner clearing attempt in Saturday's game. Nieuwendyk needed 30 stitches to close the cut. He said he was bothered by a slight headache Sunday, but felt fine Monday other than some pressure in his ear from the cut. The puck nearly severed off the bottom of his earlobe".

Looks like he's one point away from havin this one "in the bag."

He has been on fire the last 2 weekends.  It will be nice to see him get the 100th at Lynah this coming weekend.  I assume they'll stop play and spend 30 minutes or so honoring this Cornell great!!!

Stop play for 100 points?  God, I hope not.

When he gets close to Nethery's 271, or at least Tredway's 207, then maybe we can talk about stopping play.

BTW - Baby's not the only player who has a chance at reaching the 100 point plateau this season.  I'll try to avoid offending the woofing gods by not mentioning names...

CowbellGuy

You mean the one who's not a senior? :-D
