I'm fairly certain we have now clinched a tie with all teams 6th or below in the conference meaning one more point guarantees us home ice.

KeithK

Well, only Union and RPI can catch us of those currently out of home ice and we have clinched at least a tie with both teams already. So one point will clinch home ice. But if we don't get that point and RPI or Union win the rest of their games they'll probably win the Top 5 tiebreaker so there's probably still a pathological set of circumstances that leaves us on the road.

That said, it's probably safe for the ticket office to start selling playoff tickets!

Jim Hyla

Ah yes, but they already started when we bought our season tickets. Those smart people. Maybe they should start selling next years.

Huh Jim? Are you telling me that they made you buy playoffs tickets as part of the season ticket package? I'm all for confidence, but that's a little much (although I suppose it could be convienent for some people...)

Jim Hyla

No, they didn't make us, but allowed us to, at a buck off as I remember, and we could turn them back if we failed. For those of us not in Ithaca it's a no-brainer it seems.
