I'm not sure we're all so excited about a "home opener" sweatshirt, but maybe for $19.99:

is this just the exact same hoodie that they've been selling for several years?

I think it has some lame "I was there on Opening Night against Princeton 2007"-type graphic on the back.

Do we need to feed the facetimers more merch beyond the "I did my time" shirts?

I'm more concerned that they feel the need to bribe people to show up for opening night...

If it were really a bribe, they'd be handing them out at the door.

Maybe they had a bunch seconds and someone had the thought to slap some transfer lettering on them for an event?

Dear God, that sounds horrible.

The only way an "I was there for Opening Night" shirt sounds cool would be if someone screen printed every year that he attended opening night together with the city and state where he was living at the time. I'm sure Trotsky could make a fairly impressive one...

But sweatshirts are harder to throw and don't leave grease stains.

ebilmes

I saw some people wearing these last night. The sweatshirts are hideous.

evilnaturedrobot

Yeah, they are.  And I don't think I'd want to have a memento from last night, I'd prefer to forget about it as soon as possible.

...and I bought one for you for Hanukkah.  Oh well.
