anyone know the deal with the live @ lynah cd? i'd certainly be interested in getting one.

and if anyone in the band is reading this, i sorrowfully acknowledge that the "dieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee/drop deeeeeeeeeeeeeead" tradition has ended- my throat hurt too much last week. that's not to say i won't yell otherwise, tho.

Of only it were as simple as getting just you to stop.  (Nothing personal, I'm just not a fan of that.)

the "die/drop dead" thing was completely a product of myself and my friend who sits behind me, and we both have given it up, don't worry

Well as I am sure our manager would eventually tell you, the current issue right now seems to be of copyrights. There have been many delays, indeed, and this is just another small roadblock in what will eventually be a high quality production. The radio calls on the CD are excellent -- I suppose it's also a final remembrance of Grady. And the O Canada is reminiscent of when they sing the Soviet anthem in Red October. :-)

The CD is getting there. I never expected it to take this long. There will be a message here the second I have a finished product in my hand.
We've run into a series of problems including a studio closing for three months and now troubles tracking down some copyright holders so we can put all that we want on the CD and finally get it produced.
In the end I think you'll all be pleased.
It is neat to hear singing during the banners and alma.
Also of note is Grady's call of the Paolini "hat trick."
I'm also working on making the cover of the CD into a hologram where if you turn it left to right you can see the Faithful doing the Macho Man dance!

Ok the last part is a lie, but I'm doing my best to get this in your hands. It's not always easy to locate companies like weed high records and give them money.

Gee Chris and Tbone,

It's hard to believe that there could be any copyright problems on or off the hill.  We all know how easy it was to get past similar problems that arose only a few short weeks ago at eLynah.

The first CD took us almost exactly a year from when it was recorded in the fall of 1997 to when it was released. It was the same problem -- copyright stuff and recording studio issues. ::rolleyes:: So, the new one still has a good shot at beating that record...

I still enjoy the first one.  Thanks.

If we can get Lowell to agree to be Hilary Rosen's cabana-boy, can we skip all that copyright stuff?

Work is no longer an excuse to live near an ECACHL team... :(

I would love to enjoy the first one, but I never got it. In theory, someone in the band had one for me...

The original "Live at Lynah" is still available at the book store, I believe.

Ah, don't get me involved.  I don't believe in copyrights.  Besides, in medical school, they teach you to hate all lawyers.  Kind of like if you work for the Red Sox, they implant a chip in your brain that makes you say stuff like, "I just really want to beat the Yankees."

I'm psyched for the new CD, and more importantly, the games this weekend!  Let's Go Red!!!
