I felt it was necessary to win out prior to last night but now they really need to.  I'm not a wizard with the PWR but I know that winning is better than losing (most of the time at least).  This team is going to need to get over their unbelievable inconsistency and string together some wins.  Tonight is going to be really tough.  Believe it or not, I'm least worried about next weekend's games.  The RPI-Union weekend is going to be really tough though.  But really, they've gotta win all of these games.  First place in the ECACHL really doesn't matter much.  However, as we saw last year, controlling their fate within the PWR is very important.  Although last year they went unbeaten for the last two months and still ended up getting screwed.  Still, I feel like if they win out through the ECAC Tournament, one would think they would get into the top four and they are all but guaranteed to stay east.

One would hope last night's game would be the kick in the ass the team needs to charge up for this last stretch of the regular season and go strong into the postseason.
Is next year here yet?

Hopefully, but then again I kinda was hoping Princeton would have done that.

Indeed.  I'll probably say the same thing again the next time this happens.  I'm hoping I won't get the chance, of course.

It's seemed like all our losses have been supposed to kick-start this team. It just seems like you never know what kind of Cornell team is going to be on the ice.

Next thing you know, we'll be seeing the old goalie platooning as the norm from here on out.
