If anyone can't wait for the start of the season, and would like to see some early action, the HSBC Arena in Buffalo is hosting the Xerox College Hockey Showcase on Oct. 11-12. The teams, and Fri. matchups, are Canisius vs. North Dakota, and  Niagara vs. Michigan. Consy and championship Sat..
