You may remember me as the guy who put together the event for the Cornell/Clarkson Hockey game a little while back...thanks to all of you who came!  I was hoping that I might be able to get the word out about another NYC alumni event that we are doing:

Join us for Slope Day @ the 79th Street Boat Basin on Friday, May 6th - Celebrate Slope Day in NYC.

It's that time of year - Slope Day! Grab your friends & relax as the sun sets - just like on Libe Slope! Dave Feldstein '00 and Sarit Kessel '00 request your presence at the Boat Basin (West 79th Street at the Hudson River-1/9 to 79th Street and head west!!!)

We'll meet at 6PM and stay until whenever! There is a beautiful outdoor space (with an overhang in case of rain.) Enjoy your favorite libation while reminiscing about the days on the Hill!

Food is also available so as not to roll down the slope - or into the Hudson! No cost, no RSVP necessary. Sign in and drop your business card for a Cornell prize! All Cornellians and friends are invited! See you there!

Not to knock your event at all, but..."relax as the sun sets"?  I don't know about you, but my Slope Day experiences at 6PM usually amounted to being passed out or nursing a hangover. :-P
