In order to avoid the chaos and thread congestion encountered during the hockey playoffs, Age is making this thread into a sticky that will list ALL of the places where Cornell fans are gathering to watch the CU-Duke game live on TV on Sunday at approximately 3 p.m. ET (or 45 minutes after the Maryland-Georgetown game ends). Age will subsequently delete the various threads about individual viewing locations.

If you know of a new gathering or if you'd like to add info about a gathering that's already listed, please post in this thread only.

In areas that aren't already served by a local cable channel that is carrying the game, the recommended channel to ask for at sports bars with satellite service is Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic (DirecTV channel 629). CSNMA should be available at any sports bar that subscribes to DirecTV and pays for the "Sports Pack" add-on package.

WARNING: NEVER assume that a sports bar gets a channel unless you have them actually walk over to a TV, turn to the desired channel, and see scheduled programming on that channel. It is impossible to guarantee that gatherings listed here will be able to show the game. Many sports bars that promised to show hockey playoff games did not deliver the goods. Proceed with caution.

...and if anyone in NYC, Philly, or nearby Megalopolis is found at a sports bar instead of in the stands at Princeton, it's 100 laps in the synchrotron without a lead apron.

And if, by chance, you find yourself in Ithaca, the Fall Creek House will have the lacrosse helmets up on the wall and the game on the TV.

The Cornell website lists CN8 as carrying the game.  Does anybody know if this means it will be shown on the CN8 website?   I know I've watched hockey games on their site before.

Edit: From the mid-atlantic CN8 website, it looks like the game should be available.
