Once again this year I'll be webcasting USCHO's Frozen Four Pre-Game shows and Town Meeting, in case you haven't seen the announcements on USCHO. Here's the link: http://www.uscho.com/m/ncaad1/?data=USCHOLive

Is there a webcast of the games? (I wanted to cancel lab.)

To answer my own question, here's a link to the Maine broadcast:

The bad news was with 20 minutes to go in the first pre-game show, we lost our line and I couldn't get back in touch with them for the life of me. The good news is 140 people were sufficiently entertained by Live At Lynah to remain connected til the game started. :-)

Ah, I was wondering why the feed suddenly started playing "Pinball Wizard".

Incidentally, I wasn't really able to listen because of some weird QT problem I have on my laptop under Windoze ME.  The feed starts out okay for a few seconds, then I start getting dropouts of about a second in length, about a second apart (so silence and when the sound comes back we seem to have skipped the appropriate amount of time).  And if I give the feed any competition (like trying to read the eLF), it goes away entirely until I stop and re-start.  Does this set of symptoms sound familiar?  (I never bothered to ask because I had access to other Windoze machines for the hockeycam, and I had to be at school to get enough bandwidth anyway.)

You could try to go into the  audio setup in Quicktime before opening the link.  That is what I had to do to get the Hockeycam audio working.  The direct audio is a problem on some computers but apparently not all.

Your symptoms are not the same as those that I was experiencing, but it is worth a try....

"When we came off, [Bitz] said, 'Thank God you scored that goal,'" Moulson said. "He would've killed me if I didn't."

Archives of all the broadcasts are now available through USCHO or eLynah
