Hey Graduating Seniors!!!!!
Are you interested in writing about this place

[CORNELL UNIVERSITY]

… and your experiences on East Hill?

The Muse, a new student publication, is currently soliciting submissions from all corners of this university. We want to publish your essays, memoirs, and stories about your time at Cornell.

No previous published writing experience is neccessary... Architects to Engineers, Animal Science majors to Hotelies are all highly encouraged to submit pieces of writing

'What are you guys looking for?' you may find yourself asking.... Well, we don't exactly know. But if you asked us what we imagine we are going to be receiving, we might be willing to venture the following guesses:

An ode to the Hot Truck
An essay about how Lynah Rink should be considered hallowed ground
Why all of those all-nighters in the ACCEL lab have paid off
Your first kiss... on the suspension bridge, no less!
The professor that changed your life
An essay discussing the true nature of the Cornell experience
Slope Day
Or anything and everything else that happens on East Hill

If there is any one guiding principle to the submissions we seek to publish is that they should offer some positive insight into the nature and diversity of the Cornell experience(s).

The deadline for submissions is:

March 4th, 2005

send an email (w/ .doc or .rtf attachement and all proper formating) to:

submit@cornell-muse.com
