The Big Red's modest 7-game ECAC RS winning streak is good for a tie of their 13th-longest alltime.  A win hosting 'Gate would put them in the top 9 in Cornell history.  Winning out, highly unlikely given the relative top-to-bottom strength of the ECAC in this era, would give them the 4th-longest in-season streak in team history.

To break the team across-season record of 40, Cornell would have to win from now through game 5 of the 2006-07 season.  ::nut::

Here are the longest streaks: http://www.tbrw.info/cornellHistory/cornellECACRSwinningStreaks.html

If they did that, well, that'd be fine by me. :-D
Is next year here yet?

I would be more than satisfied if the winning streak were extended to 22 games.  :-D

Jim Hyla

Oh, but how I remember that streak. Never again.

In looking over those games, Cornell won 20 of them by at least 5 goals.  :-O

Look what you did Greg! You really should know better than to post this kind of thing... :-P

So let Greg rename it "ECEC RS non-losing streak" and keep this one alive. Good thing we weren't on the cover of SI also.
