Former Harvard women's team member Angela Ruggiero (who coached at a hockey camp program in Ithaca) made her pro debut this past weekend with the Tulsa Oilers, a Central Hockey League team that's otherwise made up of men. She was on ESPN Friday morning with brother and goaltender Bill before the Oilers' Friday night 7-2 win against Rio Grande Valley, and was featured on the Today Show on Tuesday.

The AP story has more details.  Originally, she was only to be allowed to play in the first period, but the coaches agreed to let her come back for the 3rd.

Tough to argue with an assist and +2.  Best of luck to her continued success.
