Harvard just beat BU 2-1. They have now won 4 in a row to completely turn their crappy start around. It's a good result for Cornell, but I can't help but feel a little jealous about these ECACHL teams that are getting it done when Cornell, supposedly the best of the bunch, has gone winless in 4, barely scraping by for 2 ties in those 4.

At least we finally have a decent mix of potentially strong teams in our league, which is a very useful thing.

Don't worry, Cornell will have their chance in Florida.
Bottom line is that the ECACHL has gotten A LOT better and their interconference results so far this year are evidence of that.

Vermont also had a win over a Hockey East team tonight; they beat Massachusetts 5-2. Good night for the ECAC.

Also, it's not just their big names getting it done. In their wins over BC and BU, 4 of Harvard's 5 goals have been scored by freshmen (3 of those by Pelle).

the beanpot could certainly be interesting this yr

Yeah, we're winless in 4, but two were against a better team, all were on the road, and three went to overtime.  A bounce here and a bounce there and we'd all be dreaming of the Frozen Four.  The season is not lost, the team will get better, and I still think our potential is higher than any ECAC team except perhaps Colgate.

It's nice to have Sucks carrying us in OOC play for a change...
