That was one thing that struck me last night (or at least as well as anything can strike you over i2sports)...  Pokulok seems to be really confident playing the puck on the power play.  That's valuable, and will be even more so next year once Cook is gone.

Interesting to note that on the 5-on-3, Schafer left Pokuluk on and took Cook off for Knoepfli, making the unit of Moulson-Scott-Hynes-Knoepfli-Pokuluk.

What color jerseys did Cornell wear last night?[/q]

White

As far as I know Auger's was the last smaller jersey worn by a Cornell player. They adoped a policy of "everyone wears the same size" after him.

Grumet-Morris is a solid goaltender, although nothing spectacular, IMO.  What he has is an outstanding group of defensemen playing in front of him.  The group of Welch, Lannon, Reese, Hafner, Murphy, and MacDonald is one of the best units in the ECACHL - I would actually say the second best unit after Cornell.[/q]
It was totally their defense that kept them in the game when they held that Under-18 powerhouse team to just four goals.

Well maybe they didn't play well against that team, but you really think that Harvard has a bad defense?  They looked pretty damn good to me on Friday and that is pretty good group they have.

Pace

They really should give him a smaller one. Seriously. His hands disappear in the sleaves when the gloves are off. He looks like a kid in his Dad's sweater.

Agreed. Let's chip in and have a tailor make a house call chez Scott. Too-large clothing just emphasizes your small size. I am amazed at professional women who are shortish and who spend huge amounts on nice suits and let the sleeves come almost to their knuckles.

Good thing Scott isn't playing Cornell basketball. On him, the shorts would come halfway to his ankles.

C'mon guys.  Stop the insanity.

The amusement of simply watching Topher skate around in that jersey, and on a line where Moulson and Hynes tower over him, was worth the $5 charge. :-)
