i got more emails from you guys than i know what to do with. for the record, i was surprisingly able to get rid of all my tix by convincing the maybes in my grp of friends to attend. as such, i'm all out. i apologize for getting anyone's hopes up! there are several other avenues for tix tho:

i highly recommend you: (1) call harvard near the day of the game to see if any tix have been returned or if their own fans or undergrads have not picked up their tix. oftentimes, tix are released in this manner.
(2) if you live close by, it may not hurt to head up on gameday. worse comes to worse, you catch the brown away game at providence that friday, where you may even encounter fans with extra tix.
(3) and you could drop by the rink (or john harvard's brewery in harv sq- it's cornell central) on harvard game night to see if anyone has any extras. good luck!

Maybe if you guys didn't give Mike Rosenberg '04 such a hard time about his cheers, he would have saved you a ticket.  Thanks for the ticket Mike --  I look forward to the game.
I'm the one who views hockey games merely as something to do before going to Rulloff's and Dino's.

(4) You can join the Cornell Club of Boston for a mere $10 for young alumni ('02-'04), $27 for older folks (www.cornellclub.org) and then come November, order your tickets online through us.  Bribes welcome though not required.  We had to pay full price for all our tickets so no discount.  Can you tell I've been annointed membership czar of the club?

Hope the Club will be hosting its usual superb pre-game reception, Tom.

Didn't the Cornell Club of Boston have far fewer tickets than requests last year, leading to a lottery?

Tom Pasniewski 98

Yes, there was a lottery last year.  This year, a line will start at an undisclosed location on the banks of the Charles in November and tickets will be sold on Christmas morning.  Those freezing to death prior to ticket sales shall have their numbers invalidated.  ::nut::

Seriously though, I do not anticipate a lottery this year and those people who really want tickets and buy them the day the club puts them onsale online, shouldn't have problems picking up a pair of tickets.  I don't know when that day will be but it will be posted here.
