Just looked this up: McKee is the only goaltender in D-1 hockey to have played every single minute of his team's games this season. Next closest is Ferris State, whose backup's only minutes were the last 10:09 of an 8-0 loss to Michigan State earlier in the season.[/Q]

Just wondering, but who else has played for Brown this season?

Also, somewhat related, while checking out the box score (http://www.collegehockeystats.com/0304/boxes/mcordar1.f06), I noticed that Chabot wasn't on the roster.  Anyone know why?

You're not looking at the roster, you're looking at the box score from the Dartmouth game, for which Chabot apparently wasn't dressed.  Possibly he just didn't travel this weekend, but he is still on the roster, and was dressed as a third goalie for the Colgate games last weekend.  No need to panic.  :-)

According to collegehockeystats.com, junior Scott Rowan has played in 2 games.  In 74:47 of play, he has allowed 1 goal in 27 shots, for a save% of .963.  For comparison, Danis has played in 21 games, 1269:58, allowing 33 goals in 655 attempts (.950 save%).

There is also someone with the dubious name of Open Net who has played 0:56 for Brown this season.

Thanks for knowing what I meant.  :-)

BTW, do you think Open Net is related to M.T. Nett? ;-)

So does that mean if McKee is not well enough to dress, we only dress one goalie for the UVM game tonight?  ::uhoh::

I'm wondering if it was muscle cramps.  After he left the game he remained on the bench (as opposed to the trainer's room).  Also, noone saw any impact or other specific injury.

I'm hopeful that even if Marr starts, McKee will be available tonight.

That's been an issue before on the road.

I know it happened 2 years ago against Union when only Leneveu dressed, one night after Underhill had a "leg injury" (which was quite an interesting report, considering the ice pack on his lower back as he watched the game from the sidelines).

Not only did he make that start (his last of the 2001-2002 season, as it would turn out), but he had the primary assist on Sam Paolini's game-winning goal :-)
