From the Thrashers message board:

"Stephen Baby, 6'5" 235 lbs! Now that's what I'm talking about!

Glad to see we came to terms with this guy... we could definitely use a guy this size upfront. AND, he can actually score. Hopefully, we have the next Bertuzzi on our hands. "

16 seconds of the first period!  That's our aggressive boy!

Sam and Stephen both assisted in the win over Detroit.

Baby seeing significant ice time in tonight's exhibition game:

Edit:  Oops, all the time-on-ice, shots-on-goal, faceoffs won/lost, and other stats have disappeared.  Baby had 13 shifts, played 13 minutes, including 4 on the power-play, and 1 SOG.  Rather feeble effort by the Thrashers, however.

Hey, that's great!  Looks like classic Sam Paolini-esque deflection positioning.  :-)

It looks like Baby survived the latest round of cuts.

I haven't been able to track down the detailed stats from last night game yet to see how much playing time he got. My parents had tickets for last night game between the thrashers and the carolina hurricanes (played in Estero Florida), I'll ask them for a report on how Baby played (however, mom was more interested in watching Ron Francis).

Looks like RPI alum Brad Tapper was not so fortunate.

Derek Mackenzie was sent down - does that mean that Baby can lay claim to #21?
