Cornell has faced 5 of those players on the regular season and has/will face at least 7 of them in the playoffs.

So much for that weak schedule theory.....

Congratulations to Dave, Doug and Stephen (and to the rest of the ECAC picks -- 4 out of 6 on the first team!).

On a somewhat related point, I know Baby is good, but I think because of him, Vesce is not getting his due.  I think he's the best forward on the team.  And whether you agree or not, you rarely see articles about Cornell that focus on him (although the Sun has one today), despite his centering the top line, playing on all special teams units and being one of the top face-off men in the country.  What's up with that?

It's fascinating to see how many kids from western Canada are represented: Four from British Columbia (LeNeveu, Gare, Hemingway, Fast); four from Alberta (Brown, McElhinney, Joseph, Stevenson); and one from Saskatchewan (Kunitz). That's more than a third of the total.

By contrast, those wacky hockey hotbeds of Indiana, California, and Pennsylvania each have as many All-Americans as Ontario: one.

How the hell did that goon from Harvard sucks make it?

[Q]How the hell did that goon from Harvard sucks make it?[/Q]Maybe because he's one of the best forwards and someone that I'm very happy to see leave.

Jim, that's the Moore-on, who nobody would ever call a goon.  I'm talking about Welch, who's a sophomore.  Yes, he's really good, but I'm not happy he made the team.
