For those of us for whom John Harvard's is a no-go, where are people thinking of going instead?

Christopher's in Porter Square may be a good option, as it's right next to the T that's one stop away from Harvard. Hong Kong in Harvard is another option, though I haven't actually been there for anything other than scorpion bowls -- is the food there any good?

I'd be down for Charlie's Kitchen, though the food is not on par... mmmm greasy burgers. There's also a Dunkies right nearby, and an Uno's not far from John Harvard's.

Russell House (next to Uno's) is delicious and upscale. Tory, across the street, is cheaper but still delicious, if a bit cramped.  Grendel's Den has a nice atmosphere, good beer, and decent food.

As you mentioned, Charlie's food isn't great. Avoid the Red House (same kitchen as Charlie's), OM (for tourists) and Upstairs on the Square (overpriced).

I think some of us are going to aim for Cambridge One.

Sounds good! I think BRH and I will be there, too.

For anyone who has flexibility and see this: a number of us are going to the Harpoon Brewery for the 4pm tasting (and to get growlers filled).  See you all at the game!
