Not something you generally read about a player after four years at Cornell.

But will they share a website?

Edit: damn.  Looks like it's finally gone.  :(

Quote from: profudgeref:  Binghamton Sens Make BIG Move to 107.5 FM

Quote. . .
Director of Broadcasting Grady Whittenburg returns for his ninth season as the voice of the Senators and his 29th overall in sports broadcasting. Whittenburg was recently honored by the American Hockey League when he was named as the 2011 James H. Ellery Award winner in recognition of outstanding media coverage in the radio category. In addition to his play-by-play duties, Whittenburg will again produce "Sens Game Day", a preview of every Senators game that will air at 3:15 p.m. each game day on 1430 The Team. "Sens Rewind", a 60-second highlight montage, will air each morning following Senators action at 7:45 a.m. on 92.5 KGB-FM. Along with BIG 107.5, both 1430 The Team and 92.5 KGB-FM are part of the six-station Clear Channel radio group in the Binghamton market.

Clear Channel also affords fans outside the Binghamton listening area to access broadcasts on-line at www.big1075.com and www.1430theteam.com.

Now, if only CU would make a big move to a station with wider coverage.
How would they get more people to pay for streaming if they did that?  ::bang::

Do you have something in particular in mind?
No, but what they have may be the worst Ithaca station as far as coverage area at night. In Syracuse I can get it during the day; but at night, I can't even follow it far when I drive away after a game.

They need to get the games back onto the FM band...None of the Ithaca AM stations carry far at night.

But, don't hold your breath (for a change to FM)...I've talked with WHCU staff and they have no intention of returning it to FM.  I'm not sure what changed in the broadcast radio industry...Years ago, Cornell hockey was broadcast on FM and everyone was happy...Now, they won't even consider moving it from AM back to FM..In fairness, it's business decision that I lack information to understand...But, I hate it!!
