I was thinking the exact same thing.

Work is no longer an excuse to live near an ECACHL team... :(

my guess is 5 hours. its roughly 2.5 to Albany and I think that Hanover is about 2.5 hours from there. I would plan on 5.5 to be on the safe side.

EDIT- still think this (5 hours) tho i just saw the 6 hour estimate and chances are that i am way short on my guestimate. will be planning my route tonite and will let you know what i come up with.

Anyone have a score update yet?

Seriously, I may be able to get to my computer from time to time to check this forum tonight , but I won't have time to get an audio feed going.  I know it usually happens anyway, but could someone listening to the audio feed make occasional updates to this thread?

Thank you SO much.

Mapquest says 6:53, so 6 hours is probably close to the truth, barring major weather (or "Warp speed, Mr. Sulu"  :-) ).

A safe drive to everyone.  Enjoy the game.

USCHO's "This Week in the ECAC" says:
QuoteNote; Cornell's senior class has never beaten the Big Green.

However, according to TBRW?, Cornell beat Darmouth 3-1 in their first meeting in the 98-99 season.  Again according to TBRW? several of our seniors were on the team then.

Am I missing something (likely) or are Blasier & Moy (not unthinkable)?

Greg, as usual, is correct.

Perhaps the ECAC duo meant to say "Cornell's senior class has never beaten the Big Green in Hanover", which would be correct.  I think maybe they just blew it though...

From the Cornell Hockey site:

"The Big Green handed the Big Red its only home loss of the season earlier this year, a 5-3 contest at Lynah Rink in January. Dartmouth seems to have Cornell's number as of late, holding a 6-3-1 advantage over the last 10 games, including a 4-0-1 mark in the last five meetings. Cornell will be looking to earn its first win at Thompson Arena since 1997-98."

So, the seniors have never beaten Dartmouth at Dartmouth (yet, knock on wood).

I don't know if you want to knock on wood for something that's bad. After all don't we want it not to happen.

I thought I was knocking on wood as to the "yet". ::nut::
