Dual-threat quarterback Adam Currie, 6-foot-0 190 lbs, from Evangelical Christian School has committed to Cornell University.

Currie said "I chose Cornell because they treated everything like a family, and I felt as if I was apart of that family the moment I stepped on campus. From the very beginning Coach Knowles (Head Football Coach) told me that I was their guy. He talked about qualities like character, leadership, pride, and toughness. He said they wanted a Quarterback and not a Quarterback prospect."

"The Ivy League interest became amazing. Over the last three weeks, Coach Knowles from Cornell and the head coach from Yale, along with coaches from Brown, Penn, and Columbia either came by school, came by my home, or both!"

Currie added "Cornell has a great atmosphere. I am excited about getting up there and working harder than I have ever worked to earn a spot and do anything I can do to help Cornell win Ivy league championships. It just came down to the fact That when I arrived on campus for my official visit, I knew this was where I belong."

This past weekend Coach Knowles got a chance to see his new QB in action at the Sixth annual AutoZone Liberty Bowl High School All-Star Game at Memphis University School.

what state?

Sounds like Mr. Currie isn't well schooled on Cornell Football history. Let's start with a few road wins and work our way up to championships.

I'd be happy with a college-level offensive playbook for the kid to run.  It should be no secret:  Watch any Harvard game film.
