Ticket procedure for next year

I heard from a fairly reliable source that the ticket procedure will be somewhat similar to last year.  In other words, some type of pre-registering, a preference given to seniors, and of course, a campout in Bartels.  I think the Lynah stampede of two years ago has them hesitant to go back to any type of mass distribution.

Remember when camping out was the "means", not the "end"?

so all that talk of considering feedback about the last year's process from the fans was nothing but hot air.

Not necessarily.  Just because someone solicits and considers feedback from customers doesn't mean that those suggestions can or should be implemented.

The buzz that I've been hearing is that because there was "minimal" dissatisfaction with last year's procedure (read: no broken bones or ambulance calls), athletics will stick with something similar.

They aren't going to sell out the student seats using this method. I'm pretty sure they didn't sell them out last year, and the team didn't play that great last year so even less people are going to want tickets. The other method artificially increased demand and always caused a sellout.

One wonders: There's demand for how many season tickets? 3500? 5000? And how many people buy season tickets to get access to the Harvard/Dartmouth, Clarkson/St. Lawrence weekends and a couple others and don't show for the guaranteed-win games such as (um, are there?) Union or RPI or Princton?
