USCHO's ECAC correspondent predicts a 4-point weekend for Harvard, 2 apiece for Cornell and Colgate, none for Dartmouth in the Cornell-Colgate-Harvard-Dartmouth series. http://www.uscho.com/news/id,11988/ThisWeekintheECACHLFeb162006.html

[quote Timothy Muir McDonald]
That disappointment [coming off 1-point weekend], and Schafer's ability to motivate his team, are major reasons why Cornell will win this game. So too is the fact that Cornell will be at home, and in Lynah Rink the Big Red enjoy perhaps the best home-ice advantage in all of college hockey. ... Dartmouth is a team that can match Cornell in most aspects of the game. Most, but not all, that's why I'm calling for a slim Cornell win. Prediction-Cornell 4, Dartmouth 3.

[quote Timothy Muir McDonald]
... if Harvard can score an early goal and lend some confidence to netminder John Daigneau [edit: who was injured and did not play in the Beanpot consolation], then the Crimson has a legitimate shot of pulling off a strong upset win. And since I'm quite partial to my alma mater, that's what I'll predict. Prediction-Harvard 2, Cornell 1.
