What a sad state of affairs it is when you have to go to the eLF to find out you have mail. :-D :-D :-D

To the contrary: I will always, always, always know I have e-mail before I see someone's post on eLF telling me that I have e-mail. I tend to presume that the same is true for most others, too - and I say this with the goal of reducing the general frequency of "You have mail" postings cluttering up eLF.

Nothing personal to jy3, of course.
