If you only allow one goal, odds that it happens in the last five minutes are 5/60 or once every 12 games. So how many shutouts has Cornell lost in the last 5 minutes in the past 3 years? The past year?

2005-2006
RPI 1-1, RPI goal@ 41:54 (total elapsed in game)
Quinnipiac 2-1 Q @ 25:09
Minn-Dul 1-1       26:43
RIT 3-1             9:29
Colgate 4-1        58:11

... okay, so far this year in the five one-goal-allowed games, Cornell has twice given up the lone goal in the third period and one of those times in the last five minutes.  Well, it seemed like it happens a lot these past three years.

Plus the lone goal to the U.S. National Team at 59:34 makes it 2/6 this year in the last 5, actually last 2, minutes. Sheesh.

Make it past 4 years and you might have something. It felt like it happened to Lenny every other game his sophomore year.

Plus it would be a nice round number if McKee finished three years with 20 shutouts. Colgate is not a team you'd expect would contribute to that total, but it was darn close.
