The familiar "pursue new opportunities" departure Jan. 25. No stories yet in the Boston Globe or similar about what really happened.

[ECAC PR] >>> Phil Buttafuoco has decided to resign his post as Commissioner of the ECAC in order to pursue new opportunities.  The Board of Directors of the ECAC thanks Phil for his many contributions to the growth and success of the ECAC and college athletics in general. We wish him the best of luck in his new endeavors.
