Join the facebook group: It's "goon" not "lose"

Maybe we can get the word out somehow... I'm sick of facetimers who haven't bothered to learn the correct cheers yet!   ::help::

The goon vs. lose seems to be one of those constants that will never vanish from Cornell hockey fandom.  There will always be some who say "You lose"; at this point, I've just accepted that as fact.
Is next year here yet?

Speaking of traditions that have gotten screwed up, during the last home football game I could swear I heard the band play "Screw BU" and the crowd yell "Let's Go Red!"  What are we now, RPI?

after every penalty, i can be seen yelling, at the top of my lungs: "its goon, you morons!"  Hasn't done that much good to date though

In section E, someone tried to convince me that we were telling the goalie to "sit" after he allowed a goal (as opposed to calling him a sieve).  I don't know if it is just freshman to blame, but this years group is really pissing me off (see my we have a new sieve post!)

You mean it's not "goose"?  :-P

I'm a firm believe that the best way to learn cheers is to go to a few away games. I went to a couple last year, and had never realized that some fans actually know the words to a lot of the band songs...hum.
