Does anyone know who Cornell played in their exhibition game in the '98-'99 season?  TBRW lists Niagara as our first oponent, but I think that was the first game that counted.  I think it might have been some Canadian team, but I'm not sure.  Any clue as to the score also?

Might have been Guelph - I remember some friends mentioning it (it was before I got here).

I was there.  Cornell played Guelph University on Saturday Oct 31, 1998 at 7pm (okay, I still have the ticket stub.)

I believe it was a slaughter job by Cornell.  Either 5-0 or 8-1.  I can't remember the exact score.

Hope I've answered your questions.

The site may not be up to date, but (most of the) older stuff is still correct.

It was a 4-1 final over Guelph, with the score tied at one after 1.  The box score is at http://www.hockey.cornell.edu/news/Pastyears/Box99/Guelph.1031 .
