There's this list of the year's "best" quotes relating to Harvard hockey in today's Crimson.  Apparently Wodon's comments during the selection show didn't sit well with the Crimson.

[Q]2. “That comment was correct, but Adam had his Cornell jersey on under his shirt there.”

Welch, validating in part the in-studio analysis of U.S. College Hockey Online columnist and ESPN college hockey correspondent Adam Wodon during the NCAA tournament selection show. Wodon spent the better portion of his Harvard-related air time bashing the Crimson defense for hanging netminder Dov Grumet-Morris out to dry in the ECAC final, won by Cornell 3-1. He was rightâ€"Harvard’s blueliners had played below their potential for the most part. But hearing it from Wodon, whose passion for the Big Red is among college hockey’s worst kept secrets, was too much for some members of the Crimson.[/Q]

The same quote was also mentioned in another article:

"Milhouse, knock him down if he's in your way. Jimbo, Jimbo, go for the face. Ralph Wiggum lost his shin guard. Hack the bone. Hack the bone!"  ~Lisa Simpson

worst kept secrets?  Um...like Juan Martinez?  JP Morosi?  Mike Volvinnojsdlkjhsdlkfjh?  So funny that they have a problem with a quote which they all admit was accurate.

Unfortunately, Harvard, for years, has a hard time understand that whatever Cornell "passion" I have, has absolutely nothing to do with what I feel about Harvard.

Of course, this is different than most of you Cornell alums out there - who genuinely hate Harvard :) ... But I'm not one of them, and I have nothing against them.  No amount of me saying this, though, convinces them.  I must have passion for Michigan State, too, since I've criticized Al Montoya all year.  :)
