See, I always thought that Michigan sucks for another reason: how many times in recent memory has Michigan been put in a Regional outside of the state of Michigan? I can only think of one time, last year when they had to go out east. Between Yost, Grand Rapids and East Lansing, it is disturbing how they always seem to enjoy home ice (or really close to home ice).

Red picked his words very carefully, probably because he doesn't want to add any fuel to the fire in a conference rivalry that's becoming very hot.  He's high on tOSU, because they've been very competitive with Michigan over the past two years.  However, I'm sure he'd rather see them come out of the West Region than another Red team, because the Buckeyes are a known factor.  If Cornell advances past tOSU, Berenson should be concerned...

Oh, missed an article:

Note: Ohio State associate head coach Casey Jones, in his 10th year with the Buckeyes, is a 1990 Cornell graduate. He had 112 career points with the Big Red and was a team captain, winning the Bill Doran Sportsmanship Award in 1990. Schafer was an assistant coach at Cornell while Jones was playing.
