The Cornell Club of Boston has posted its procedures for purchasing tickets to the Cornell at Harvard hockey game on 1/8 on their homepage at www.cornellclub.org.  Take a look if you're still looking for tickets or to see what procedures the club has been reduced to in order for people to buy tickets.

While Harvard relaxed it's restrictions by eliminating the package for the general public, they increased the restrictions on the Cornell Club by further reducing ticket allotment and doubling the price per ticket the club has to pay to get tickets from Harvard.

We are working to try to convince Fox Sports New England (FSNE) that there is a market for televising this game mainly so that we can offer a location next to the rink for those without tickets to eat, drink and watch the game in high definition but also we're mentioning the huge following this game has from alumni around the country.  New England Sports Network (NESN) has said no already to televising the game.  Stay tuned on that one.

Time commitments have prevented me from being as active on the forum this season as I would like.

I just picked up my ticket for the Harvard game through the Cornell office.  Nighman says there are a decent amount of tickets for the game available to Cornell students.

This game has already been signed on by CSTV as Game of the Week for Jan 8.  Therefore, lobbying FSNE is a waste of time, they won't double broadcast this game.

Is CSTV actually broadcasting this game? Their website lists a live women's b-ball game around the same time.

I don't think CSTV is broadcasting the game.  They did last year, but it's not on their schedule for this year.  Plus it's on a Saturday, and all their games (I think) are on Fridays.

CSTV is not broadcasting it, which is why we're pursuing other networks.

Ok.

But they are showing the Clarkson game at Lynah 2/28, which is nice.

Not to pile on, Faithful07, but that should be 1/28, not 2/28...  One of those days, eh?
