I'll be there both nights, in section F, wearing either a white Downs jersey or a red Cam Abbott jersey (or maybe one each night if there's enough room in my bag).  I've heard that Munn can be pretty quiet and (especially since it'll be my first game this year) I think we can inject some life into it.   ;-)   Who else will be there?

Me - white jersey, no name or number.  my tickets are on the top left of the arena in the view from their website - about section J if it were Lynah.  However, sounds like Munn isn't filling up this year, so hopefully there'll be room for all us Cornell fans to get together somewhere.
Let's Go RED!

I'll be there for the Friday game only.   Section F, Row 10, Seat 11.  Got the ticket through Cornell so section F must be for visitors.  Will be wearing a white Mark McRae jersey.

elliotb

I'll be there. I got my tickets through CU, so I presume they're also in Section F. I'll be wearing my red Jason Elliott jersey, as always.

KeithK

I'll be there for both games sitting with Robb.  I'll still be wearing my red campus hockey tournament jersey from '98.  I'll get around to getting a real one one of these years...

Oh, we're heading to Kalamazoo Saturday night too...

Will

I will be there with my crew.  I'll likely be wearing my red away #19 Chris Abbott jersey at both games.  We will also be at the Notre Dame @ Western Michigan game on Saturday night.
Is next year here yet?

bhochs

i'll be there with my friend and two girls i don't know; they are driving us. we're getting tickets through kids at state, but we'll try and congregate with other cornell fans. haven't invested in a jersey yet, i'll prolly just wear my lynah shirt

bernie han

anyone know whether or not these guys sell out?  will one be able to buy tickets at game time on sunday?

billhoward

MSU no sell-out? The site says Munn Ice Arena has been a sell-out since December 1985. That said, it's hard to imagine someone at the gate not selling an unused ticket here or there. Of course, there's a difference between strolling over to Lynah and getting shut out, and driving to Michigan to learn bad news.

Either way, it will make a heck of a story.

Robb

Actually, MSU did not sell out a couple of games this fall, ending their very impressive run.  From what people were posting on USCHO, it didn't sound like Cornell was a sellout as of a week or so ago.  Either way, it certainly sounds like tickets should be available on the street.

Some MSU fans are saying that they feel that the reduced demand is actually a good thing - an opportunity to cull their herd of some of the older, non-participatory fans...
Let's Go RED!

Jeff and Marea Kahn
Friday - Sec. F, Row 15, seats 15-16 Red Frozen Four t-shirt
Sunday - Sec. F, Row 6, seats 15-16 Red Lynah Faithful t-shirt
I may also be wearing a Carnellian? color Cornell jacket with leather sleeves from 1966, weather permitting and if I can still squeeze into it.  The jacket is similar to the one Ned used to wear for home games (he wore a suit and tie on the road, Cornell jacket at home).

Just received the following from Jill Welch, who coordinates from Ithaca with the local alumni groups, regarding events around the games.  I had called Jill about a month ago to ask if there were any Cornell events scheduled for the weekend.

[Q]Hello --
You had expressed interest in attending any events around the hockey games this weekend.  I apologize for the lateness of this notice, but I just learned all the necessary details. I hope that you can attend the games and the reception on Friday evening.  Also, the Cornell Club of Michigan (in Detroit) is inviting any Cornell hockey fans who are interested to go to a restaurant for lunch after Sunday's game (2:00 p.m. face off).  The hockey team won't be attending this, however.  If you are interested, call Irene Christy '93 on her cell phone at 248/376-7464.

GO BIG RED!!!
