OK, as requested, I've added a live score update that appears in place of the date at the top of the page when active. It requires a simple login, so if you'd like to participate, e-mail me a name and password you'd like to use, and I'll send you the info.

Clarification: It only requires a login to update the scores. Everyone can see it.

Well, if anyone noticed, it works if the data gets inputed. That is, the score of the game can be viewed at the top left of the eLynah page. Age, at my request has put in a system so we can all add the current score or time of the game. Unfortunately because of work I could not get here till near the end of the second period to start it.

I thought it would be useful, especially for those who can't listen to the whole game. That way, when ever you come back to the game the score and time are posted and you are brought up to date. For this to work well I'll need a few others to sign up with Age, so that there is some redundancy and it's always up-to-date. I know many of you post messages to update the score. If you wouldn't mind doing it though this method, it, I think, would be more accessible to all. That way if there is no score, but 15 min. of the first period are gone, you could post that and let everyone know.

Do I have any takers?

If this were to work, then next year we might have some of us also listening to other ECAC games and we could keep a running score of all games. It sure would beat waiting for ECAC site to update or going through the USCHO score threads. Of course we would have to get Age to rework his page again, but I'd guess he would if we will help.

hmmm since people usually give updates for the cornell game (like me when i am procrastinating), it should not be a problem. would it be similar to a submit for a post?

email Age as per his initial post and he'll get back to you. Once you have his page address, you just need a name and password. Then you can get in and update the score/time whenever you want. It's easy, believe me.

I don't know if anyone found the running score useful. Since I plan on being at all remaining games I won't be able to do it anymore. If anyone wants to, contact Age. It's easy. I'd be happy to help anyone.

I thought jtw was going to do it this past weekend. At any rate, if Mark's up in press row with me this weekend, I'll see if he can do it. (I need more laptops durn it... hehe) Volunteers will be needed for away games, though. E-mail me if you can help.

Yeah, sorry, I had dinner commitments both nights, one of which came up at the last moment.
