A reminder that in the Jan. 27, 2002 edition of the Watertown Daily Times, St. Lawrence defenseman Ryan Glenn was quoted as saying:

"We played strong.  We played hard.  In the end they got a lucky bounce.  It bounced off the post and in.  It happens I guess.  We can beat Cornell.  We're just as good if not better.  There's no doubt about that.  They just got the bounces."

IMHO, that quote is pretty tame for bulletin board material.

I wasn't there, but we did seem to eek out a victory in that game.  A hard-fought victory against them.

True, but I still cringe a little at the "if not better...no doubt" part.  I just want to beat them (and Clarkson) pretty handily this weekend.
