Given andyw2100's experience, I'm too afraid of taking responsibility for a game thread. So I'll just ask a question.

What's the skinny on tickets in Providence?

dbilmes

I'm sure the athletic department will have information about that on Monday.

If your question is, Will the Dunkin sell out? No. Even with Providence playing in Providence, it would be miraculous if attendance topped 10,000.

Dunkin Center Providence capacity   14,300     for ice hockey
NCAA regional attendance            10,000     less than capacity

Participating teams in Providence are
1. Minnesota State
2. Northeastern
3. Cornell
4. Providence

It would be nice to know what sections Cornell is allotted for the Saturday game and which goal Cornell attacks twice. Then get tix accordingly though Cornell, or online.

Allentown would have been a better draw for driving: 3 hours from Ithaca, 2 hours from NYC. At least it's not Manchester and not Fargo.

But I remember well a regional in Providence where Cornell beat Mankato and BC to advance.  Besides, it's closer to my house.  And if I'm dealing with an intramarriage rivalry game I'd just as well it be close to home.::worry::

Yes, I said I'd take a shot, and had a little streak going, but couldn't come through when it mattered most. So...who's next?

And Providence NCAAs is also where I took a Smith girl for our first date. Saturday in Lake Placid Gwen and I celebrated our 35th anniversary.

Just bought two.  Cornell sections 104 to 106.  Seats to be assigned, it says.  Pick up at Cornell will call table.

upprdeck

looks like demand wont be too tough... as for most of these rounds.. upperdeck almost empty, the corners with the 2 teams playing and the middle down low sold..

Me all alone.

Does anyone know about the band. I need to know about Snickers. If they're coming, I'll see if they can take in the Snickers. I've had problems at NCAA venues not letting me bring in my bag of newspapers. If I have to empty the bag and carry the newspapers in, there's no way I can bring in Snickers. And who knows what happens if I get them in and start throwing. Remember at Harvard, they let me bring in newspapers and Snickers. But when I started to throw, then they took the Snickers.

I guess when Mom & Dad donated $millions to get you in, there's not much cash left for candy.

I'm in 109, but as usual don't plan to sit there.  TBH, tickets are simply to get you in the door.

And Jim, if you have any trouble, I'll be glad to meet up with you and help you get the candy in, if you need it.
