I not sure if Swezey mentioned it but one of the most amazing strings in sports was Syracuse's 22 straight national semifinals appearances from 1983 to 2004. Since then, three more 2006-2009, since then only one more in 2013. Syracuse does have the top recruit entering in the fall, M Joey Spallina, per Inside Lacrosse. (The IL list I see only lists the top ten not 100.) This will be the second year with Gary Gait as HC after 21 years under John Desko preceded by 67 years (back to 1931) under Roy Simmons and Roy Simmons Jr.
