Anybody making a sign for Saturday in case Ryan Vesce scores his career 100th point (as a junior)??  ::idea::

Section A

and though it would take a couple productive games, Mark McRae has 96 career points going into this weekend. But hey, anything can happen, and he had 2 pts. in the Harvard game.

It would be nice if we advance far enough into the tournament so that they both get to the plateau.

Nevertheless, and this should go without saying, I'm pretty sure that neither Mark nor Ryan cares one bit about getting to 100 as long as we advance to the Frozen Four and hopefully well beyond.

I'm sure Ryan doesn't care.  He's got a whole 'nother season.  It's great to have a guy close to 100 points during his junior year -- probably the first one since Derraugh, Andison, and Hughes back in 90 and 91.

I believe Mark has 98 points, not 96, going into Providence.

In the USCHO preview, Jerry York had this to say about Vesce, "But that little kid, [Ryan] Vesce — the small, clever center-ice-man — plays very well for them."

That York statement reminds me of another similar Cornell player, Shaun Hannah.  Speedy little guy who can score pretty goals...

On the ice he reminds me a little of Ryan Smart.
