Mark Scheifele, a '93 playing Jr. B for Kitchener, appears to have committed to Cornell. He's 6'3" already and 175lbs, and was the conference Rookie of the Year.

A post on hfboards.com (about him being traded from Saginaw to Barrie in the OHL) says: "But in talking with McKeen's Director of Scouting David Burstyn, he was saying Scheifele might have been the best 93 who didn't play in the OHL this season. Really talented offensive player with good size. If they can lure him out of the NCAA route, (which is obviously what they're hoping to do), this has great potential for the Colts."

An OHL blogger said this about him: "Scheifele is a dynamite offensive player with great size who was excellent for Kitchener of the GOJHL last season. Problem is, all signs are pointing to him going the NCAA route after failing to report to Saginaw's rookie camp."

This kid seems like an excellent addition to an already formidable set of forwards for 2011 and 2012.
