Nate,

Around here, you can pretty much assume that if anybody is able to help, they will try to help.  You can also generally assume that almost everybody reads almost every post in almost every thread.  So posting twice to emphasize how anxious you are - especially only a couple of hours apart - isn't likely to improve your odds very much.  Just a thought.

That having been said, have you looked on eBay, or done a general websearch?

I think those cards were only available if you purchased them through the hockey office during the season.  I don't think a lot of people bought them, and given that it was 10 years ago, I would guess that they'd be very difficult to find.  As well as finding someone who was willing to part with them.

These cards were also given out at the hockey awards banquet. If you are interested in getting cards of the 92-94 players in general and not the Cornell set then I would use the hockey DB

http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/cards/playercards.html

to search by player for all cards made of the player. Then if you find one you want you can look for it on eBay. I have had good results doing this.

If your heart is set on the Cornell issued ones you may be out of luck since most of the people who got them really wanted them. I have 2 of each year, one signed one unsigned, but like Rich said, I wouldn't sell them.

Maybe there is a box of unopened ones kicking around in the corner of someones office.

Thanks to all who have given me valuable information on these cards. I am going to keep my fingers crossed and hope somebody might know even the producer of these cards or who might have box of these 92-93 and 93-94 Cornell cards.

I would think there is somebody out there who might have the cards and not really want them anymore if there is my kids would really appreciate it.

Please any feedback is helpfull thanks

Just out of curiosity Nate...why those 2 years?  Were they the only years that there were hockey cards?  Any player(s) in particular that you're looking for?

I think because those were the only 2 sets produced for Cornell, according to hockeydb.com:

Just sampling the other teams listed, it looks like a lot of them were only produced during the same couple years, and the only teams I saw to have sets between '94 and '99 were the Gophers and UHN.  Was there an NCAA rule put into effect after the '93-'94 season, or do you think the company who made them just went out of business?  Some Western teams have started putting out sets again around '99-2000.

From what i understand they are the only 2 years that Cornell produced cards 92-93 and 93-94. I am not looking for any player, i am looking for either a complete set or even a partial set if somebody wants to keep a player. Thanks again for the input nate
